Jeff StacyJEFF STACY has written five
screenplays including Gospel Hill. He produced and directed
several short films and won "Best Director of a Short Film"
for his short MIKE MALLOY at the New York International
Independent Film and Video Festival. Other screenings
include The Mill Valley Film Festival, The Nashville Film
Festival, and The A.F.I. among many others. Jeff grew up in
Texas and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the
University of Texas and his Masters of Fine Arts in film and
video from Columbia College in Chicago. He has made short
films, written screenplays, been a three time recipient of
the Maryland State's Arts Grant and taught filmmaking at
Towson State University and Columbia College. He has also
worked as a crew person on over 30 major films including
Forrest Gump, Beloved, and Ladder 49. He lives with his
wife, Kelly, son Eli, daughter Willow, a dog, two cats and a
lizard in a big old house in Mount Holly. He recently
completed his first novel.
